On March 21st, 2025, our team had the privilege of filming an inspiring new episode for the upcoming My Australia Story series, featuring Mr. Ronald Mutambiranwa. Shot in the stunning Hackett Hall at WA Museum Boola Bardip, this interview highlights Ronald’s journey as a migrant who has thrived in Australia — a powerful story among many in the series.
The client’s goal was to bring to life authentic success stories from individuals who migrated to Australia and made significant contributions to their communities. Our job? Create a warm, polished interview setup that captures the depth and emotion of Ronald’s story.

To achieve a cinematic, intimate look, we used a three-camera setup with Sony FX6s.
Lighting presented a unique challenge: filming on a balcony setting meant we had to carefully rig large C-stands and creatively position backlights to avoid them entering the frame. Thanks to our crew’s ingenuity, we were able to perfectly illuminate our subject without compromising the natural architecture of the space.
Gear List
- 3 × Sony FX6 Cameras
- Large C-Stand Rigging
- Lighting Kits (optimized for balcony shooting)

Despite the challenges, the shoot ran smoothly. The client was particularly happy with how efficiently the setup and filming were completed — noting that having 2.5 hours for setup made all the difference in creating a professional, stress-free environment.
It’s always a privilege to witness these incredible personal stories firsthand.
We’re truly honored to help share Ronald’s journey with a wider audience and look forward to unveiling more inspiring episodes from My Australia Story soon.
Stay tuned!
